About Us
Wax + Wine began as a dream for father-son team, Alan + Jordan Beletz, who wanted to create a unique opportunity for people to connect with one another through creativity + conversation.
Jordan + his team have created a stunning studio space in Old City, Philadelphia where guests can gather with friends + create a beautiful product of their own while learning the artisan craft of candle making.
At WAX+WINE, we want to create experiences that Lighten Up Life! Whether it be through loose instruction reservations or while hosting a private event, we strive to help guests escape from the routine of the week and unlock their creativity!
FAQs
DEPOSIT + PAYMENT DETAILS:
- A 25% deposit is due to confirm your date + reserve your room. the final balance + headcount is due 2 weeks prior.
- Candle making events: $250 deposit is due
CANCELLATION POLICY:
The initial deposit is not refundable in the case of a cancellation, but may be used for a future eventat WAX+WINE if canceled 21 days prior to the event date for private rooms and 31 days prior if reserved the entire venue. [this applies to candlemaking events as well].
DECORATIONS:
Light decorations are welcome, but excessive or messy decorations such as glitter or confetti, or anything taped or tacked to the walls are not permitted.
PARKING:
There is a parking garage at 231 N 2nd Street,Philadelphia, PA 19106, which is a 4 minute walk from the store. feel free to unload in front of the store before parking.
CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL?:
Yes! we do have a wine shop onsite. [see event pdf for pricing] Wine can be purchased in advance or a la carte on the day of the event.
CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD?:
Yes! you may bring outside food, but please limit selection to light snacks + no sternos. we also have an excellent catering partner + are happy to assist with placing your order.
DO YOU HOST KIDS PARTIES?:
Yes! our candle making experiences are great for kids + adults. adult chaperones are required + event minimums apply.
CAN I BOOK AN EVENT OUTSIDE OF YOUR NORMAL HOURS?:
